The World's Finest - first meeting (New Earth)

EDIT: I decided to move the rant to a journal ( Superman and Batman - The VS dilema ). As of now, this deviation will be a part of the New Earth project (which kinda was the original intent before that big text some of you might have saw)

Story: This is the story of how Batman and Superman first met.
After the Joker steals a chunck of Kryptonite out of Lex Luthor and has the unfamous buisness man in the tail for him, the Clown Prince of Crime offer Luthor couldn't refuse: One billion american dollars and he would kill Superman in less than a week. Luthor would ultimately accept due to him being busy the next week as he was making a deal as for to make a coalation along with Bruce Wayne and WayneCorp.
Bruce himself would take the opportunity that both he and the Joker are in Gotham as for to him to hunt Joker, his manhunt being cut short due to the interveneance of Superman. Bruce was ultimately overpowered by the Man of Steel, unlucky for Superman, Batman had long learned his secret identity, that the reporter from Kansas and the Man of Tomorrow were in fact the same person.
Bruce and Clark's discute would be interrupted by non other than Joker, as he attacked a unprepared Superman with the Kryptonite, Clark would had to be saved and be medically aided by Bruce, as Superman healed, both he and the Dark Knight knew that not only was the Joker being funded by Lex (due to him, being one of the few people that has access to Kryptonite) but that his attacks would get worse and worse, although hessitant, Batman and Superman had to team up as to take down both the Joker but also Luthor.
The next couple of days would only get weirder and weirder as Joker would continue his attacks not only to Superman, but also to Metropolis, orchestrating many terrorist attacks that not only would get the attention of the news and Clark, but also would help Lex's public image as he would be the one taking care of the destruction and the damage. Ultimately both Clark and Bruce would catch up to Luthor and Joker as Lex would try to withdraw the deal due to Joker's constant failure, Superman and Batman ultimately would go to take them in, both of them escaping, Joker goin to LexCorp's Armory and attacking Batman with the newest technology on weaponry, and Lex going to his office, entering a secret room were not only did he had his own personal Kryptonite Ring as to repel Superman, but also had a experimental armor created for the goverment as for to aid soldiers on war, addecuately called the Warsuit.
As Batman would take down Joker, Superman would have a problem with Luthor as not only he had stashed Kryptonite based weapons on the Warsuit that weakened him, but also he could now go toe to toe with the now weakened Man of Steel, it would be up to Bruce to ultimately take down Luthor by hacking the movement software on the Warsuit and then systematically destroying some of it's parts up until Clark was strong enough to ultimatelly destroy most of the Warsuit.
The week ended, the Joker was heading back to Arkham Asylum and although Luthor was seen by some people during his fight with Superman, he had so much power that he was back to his mansion a month later, as Superman and Batman meeted for one last time, Clark and Bruce although not neceseraly friends, they had grown a mutual trust and respect for one and other, so as to Clark to give him Luthor's Kryptonite ring.
