Secret Origins: Piotr Rasputin was born to a family of farmers in Siberia, Rusia, being the middle son of the Rasputin family, along with his brother Mikhail and his sister Illyana. Piotr worked mostly arround his farm helping his family during the time that his brother became a cosmonaut, showing great strenght ever since he was 13.
One day, Piotr's powers to turn into metal emerged as his little sister was about to be crushed by a runaway tractor, saving his sister by stop and inedvertedly crushing the tractor. Although Piotr didn't give to much interest besides being able to help his family with his new powers, the Russian goverment tried to use him as a weapon, constantly attacking his family's farm during the night and trying to take him, up until one day he was aproached by Prof. Charles Xavier. Charles aproached to Piotr to join his team of mutants, although at first Piotr would decline his offers, deciding to stay at the farm to help and protect his family, at the end, he would accept as Xavier promissed him to keep the goverment away from the farm, Piotr joining Xavier's team of X-Men as Colossus.
Black Ops: As a member of the black ops team of the X-Men, Colossus made many allies, friends and even loved ones, one of those being his once and future girlfriend and love, Katherine ''Kitty'' Pryde.
Kitty and Piotr were inseparable, so much to the point that when Colossus was kidnapped by the mega-corporation Benetech to further develop and create a mutant cure, Kitty left the X-Men to save him from the corporation.
Despite her efforts, Kitty wasn't able to save Colossus, requiring the help of the newly reformed X-Men, thus the team alongside the recently re-joined Kitty saved Piotr, destroying the cure and each variation on it. Once back on the fold, Colossus decided to rejoin alongside Kitty the new X-Men, helping them further lighten up their reputation and to save a world that fears and hates them.
